MECA SAPIENS - machine consciousness project

Together, the first four sections will provide a complete and testable design for machine consciousness. Using these results, it will be possible to implement conscious machines directly.

To go beyond this and achieve complete open endedness in learning and behavior, it will be necessary to express the fundamental mechanisms of learning and behavior with a very high level of abstraction. These mechanisms, with wich a conscious machine will be programmed must embody a very fundamental understanding of communication, knowledge, learning and behavior.

This section will define representations of these concepts that are sufficiently abstract to allow the implementation of a truly open-ended form of consciousness.
