These endeavours aim to reveal the ultimate core of reality. Artificial Intelligence, originally, was such a field. Subsequently, it diversified in more mundane directions. A new field within AI is proposed: Cogistics.

The goal of Cogistics, the proposed name of a new branch of AI, is to design and implement an intelligent machine. This goal lies at the crossroad of human knowledge. The work to achieve it specifically takes place in the field of Computer Science and uses software tools and techniques. The result will be a concrete software program running on computing equipment. However, the construction of a conscious machine requires input from many other fields. The achievement of this goal will also influence many areas of human knowledge.
